And now we find out why the readability of Daily Kos has plummeted over the past year: $16 million and counting of Sanders' campaign cash has gone out to a company specializing in social media trolling.
I read that. It says it is the same company used by Obama when he was running. Other Dems use it too. That "digital presence" is being paid for by all the candidates, including Hillary, because it is the reality of contemporary campaigning. Since they are all paying for the same service, I don't get why that makes Bernie Sander's more unethical than the others. All the irrelevant attention to accusations and conspiracy theories, and cries of being victimized, and the misuse of the word "attacked", by both Bernie and Hillary supporters against each other, is just do disheartening.
Look at the masthead. Michael Whitney, former FDLer, has pride of place on it.
If you remember how bad FDL became when it dumped its moderation system in May of 2011, and how the 'community moderation' system that replaced it was easily gamed by the NPA and various other emoprog Naderite types, you'll understand why Mr. Whitney's digital media expertise is so highly prized by the Sanders team.
