Here's Kos himself, trying desperately to get the emoprogs he's coddled since 2008 to understand political reality (and they're not liking it one bit):

Why do I say "coddle"? Here's his reply to a BSer who accused him of not working with the Sanders coalition to bring them and DK together and become more diverse (emphases mine):
"The Sanders coalition IS the Daily Kos readership. They are literally identical. In fact, they’ve built much of their email list from our readership (true fact!). And that’s cool! But that won’t deliver the demographic diversity this site needs to remain relevant in progressive politics in future years.
"Me, personally, I’m cool with what I do—analyzing stats and chase away dumb people. It’s worked well for this site. And with my free time, I spend it being a dad, my greatest passion.
"As we scope out future tools for the site, they’re all focused on making it easier for people like you to be even more effective in your advocacy. In other words, I want to do less, but make it easier for you guys to do more. I want to retire in 10 years to focus on other things, like philanthropy (now that I have the means to return what so many gave to me when I had nothing).
"That’s my role, that of an enabler and supporter. I’m not a leader, nor do I care to be. I want to empower those who ARE true leaders and then lavish love on my kids, because they are remarkable."
In other words:
Kos bent over backwards to be nice to the Democrat-hating emoprogs, was hoping he could let the site run on autopilot, and is now horrified to see that the bargain he thought he'd struck with them existed only in his head - and that he very likely totally wasted eight years on these idiots.

The looming bannings of the emoprogs has brought out some longtime lurkers happy to see the day. Of course, it also bears noting that Kos is doing a much better job of dealing with his misbegotten creation than the Republicans are. No surprise there. And, as someone noted, it’s his site. |

I already went through them, its obvious they feel the victims even when other Bernie supporters are supporting Kos's actions lol. Mahlika Overdrive needs to be tossed out on her ass along with GBBBBB, all they are doing is taking what they were told and twisting it into a pretzel to suit their needs. Hell half their posts to prove how bad dkos is or Clinton supporters is about Brooklyn Badboy. And Mahakhali Overdrive has less excuse than does Reddit Boy geebeebee, as she's been at DK since 2008. My biggest fear is that these dingbats don't actually follow through with their threats to leave. As you've already said, Kos needs to institute IP blocking so they can't come back once banned. |

Chances are it will happen earlier, Kos has got to start bursting some of these delusions of grandeur going on. Plus now they are trying to drive traffic away from the site. Am I the only one who can draw a direct line between the multiple diaries accusing Hillary and by extension the Obama Administration of murder in the death of Berta Cruces (hope I got her name right ..) and Kos finally dropping his hand into the mess?
It looked to me like that was the final line too far.
